EXIT

Sweden (MIFF 2007, Jaguar International Panorama)

Director: Peter Lindmark

EXIT

Last year's MIFF guest, the enigmatic Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, the Pusher trilogy at MIFF 06), stars in a dark, Hitchcockian thriller set against the high-flying world of corporate finance. Thomas is a man at the top of his game, a successful venture capitalist with a beautiful wife and daughter. When on the eve of closing a lucrative financial deal, his business partner, Wilhelm, is killed, Thomas' perfect world comes apart at the seams. Framed for the murder, he is forced to rely on his wits to protect himself and his family. The latest feature from filmmaker Peter Lindmark (At Point Blank) is a simmering, multi-layered thriller, jam-packed with complex plotting and unexpected twists.
