Austria, 2007 (MIFF 2007, Jaguar International Panorama)

Director: Antonin Svoboda

“One year from now, we should meet here again, because we have been through quite something together.” An unlikely trio of men gets closer and more confined than they ever imagined when their car is run off the road and into a ravine. It begins with Rafael and his brother-in-law heading to the opening of a wine store and picking up a stranded performer on the way. They find themselves stuck in each other's company when the car becomes wedged between two trees, trapping them all inside. Hilariously incongruous yet somehow totally logical, Forever Never Anywhere illustrates what happens when men are forced to exchange unwanted intimacies, teetering between friendship, survival and total irritation. “Clever ideas and some genuinely funny moments help pass the time.” - Variety
