Director: David Lynch

INLAND EMPIRE

“Screwdriver madness! Prostitutes doing The Locomotion! A sitcom starring rabbits speaking gibberish! Welcome to the very, very (very) strange world of David Lynch.” - BBC Step inside the dark mind of filmmaker David Lynch (Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet) as he tumbles ever further down the rabbit hole into a world where nothing is as it seems. Actress Nikki (Laura Dern) is hired to star in a new movie alongside the womanising Devon but she has second thoughts after being warned the film is based on a gypsy curse. When she discovers the stars of the original film were brutally murdered, Nikki's reality merges with her character and with that of the slaughtered stars. “There are consequences to one's actions. And there certainly would be consequences to wrong actions. Dark they would be, and inescapable.”
