REVANCHE

Whose fault is it if life doesn't go your way?

Ex-prison inmate Alex works in a Vienna brothel, doing dirty jobs for his sleazy boss while having a secret affair with Tamara, one of the prostitutes. His dream of escape with Tamara seems impossible until he hatches a plan to rob a bank in the sleepy village where his grandfather lives.

With nothing going they way they planned, Alex finds himself hiding out on his grandfather's farm, becoming increasingly entangled with the wife of the cop who's on his tail.

A spectacular psychological portrait of pain and renewal, Revanche shows what is left when the best laid plans come undone.

“Elegantly spinning primal elements of guilt, revenge, faith and redemption.” - Variety
