A fantasy documentary blurring the lines between outlandish fact and outright fiction, My Winnipeg is a melding of history and memory as MIFF regular Guy Maddin (Brand Upon the Brain!, MIFF 07) takes us through his childhood and the swirling depths of his mind. A grainy mixture of melodrama, archival footage and silent film, stretching the boundaries of experimental cinema in a way that only Maddin can.
