Director: Maïwenn Le Besco
“I can't take any more of your highbrow direction! I've done this goddamn scene 30 times!”
Actor-turned-director Maïwenn Le Besco's latest feature is a clever black comedy masquerading as a behind-the-scenes ‘making of' documentary, in which a film director (Maïwenn) follows her actress friends in their hilarious daily travails.
An all-star cast - including Jeanne Balibar, Julie Depardieu, Charlotte Rampling and many more - poke fun at themselves and their ‘glamorous' star lifestyles as they scramble for leading roles, fight for the supposed integrity of their characters and battle the inevitable march of age.
