(MIFF 2009, Accelerator Shorts)

This is the second of two must-see short film programs from the hottest new filmmaking talent in Australia and New Zealand, plus this year for the first time, Denmark.

Accelerator is an annual MIFF initiative designed to fast-track the careers of outstanding emerging filmmakers. Alongside the two screening programs, Accelerator is a four-day intensive workshop for the selected filmmakers which is comprised of presentations, seminars, screenings and functions with international and Australian industry heavyweights.

Accelerator could not happen without the support of our partners: Film Victoria, Screen Australia, The Danish Film Institute, The New Zealand Film Commission, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and the Australian Directors Guild.
