Anzac

Australia, 1960 (MIFF 1960, Programme 22)

Director: Jennie Blackwood

Using old photographs from the National War Museum, Canberra, and early newsreels, the film dramatically tells the story of the Gallipoli assault. The use of natural sound and editing techniques appear to animate still material producing a realistic account of this important event in Australian history.
