A record of physical and psychological stress experienced over three months by members of the International Biomedical Expedition. David Parer served the expedition as one man film maker,experimental guinea pig and back-up technician.

His "Douglas Mawson—The Survivor" won the Grand Prix at last year's Melbourne Film Festival.
