The Feelings are the Same

Denmark, 1972 (MIFF 1974)

Director: Christian Hartkopp

The creators of the film declare, “A film about emotional relations and about the commonly human. Wish for contact may arise between people of different sex and of the same sex. The film tries to describe certain aspects of such relations as they are experienced both from within and from outside. Through parallel situations, it tries to show that the similarities between a number of situations are more pronounced than the differences. Homosexuality is a way of living among several others”.
