Director: Rintaro

The new millennium. The final battle to decide the fate of humanity is about to take place Kamui Shirou's destiny has already been decided by the time he returns to Tokyo to face the ultimate challenge. The Dragons of Heaven, powerful and benevolent cosmic entities, stand ready to assist in the defence of the planet against opposing forces. The Dragons of Earth, seven grevious angels of legend, believe that only total devastation and the obliteration of humanity can purify the planet.

Kamui must navigate dreams and deceptions, judge true from false appearances and alliances in order to pick the right side on which to fight. He realises that his two childhood friends Fuma and Kotori, are the key to his decision, and possibly the outcome of this titanic struggle. X blends gothic visual flair and exhilarating supernatural action sequences to create a breathtaking Japanese anime adventure Based on the best-selling manga series by the ominously named Clamp, with stunning animation by Mad House (Nmja Scrolls).

"If there is an animated movie you must not miss, X marks the spot. Spectacular"—Animerica

"One of the greatest orgies of battle ever seen in a live action film or animated one a feast for the eyes:—Fantasia
