John Turturro is Harry Cam, a security guard in mid-west Amenca, whose wfe has been killed at the mall in which he works. Harry becomes obsessed wrth revenge, poring over endless surveillance camera footage and searching for any shred of evidence. When the police unearth a suspect in a poor quality photograph, Harry realises that the man may have been a recent neighbour. As the search heats up and Harry draws closer to the truth, his well-being—both psychological and physical—is increasingly threatened. Co-written by cult novelist Hubert Selby Jr (Requiem for a Dream, Last Exit to Brooklyn), with a score by Brian Eno and starring Barton Fink himself, Fear X leads the viewer into dark, dangerous and intriguing David Lynch territory.
