Tempo

Denmark, 1999 (MIFF 1999, Fiction)

Director: Laurits Munch-Petersen

A man rushes to be somewhere, events conspiring to make sure he misses his appointment. The car won't start, the clock keeps ticking, the stress of being late appears to exacerbate his problems. Is this frustrating series of events a dream or a premonition? This short film explores the tempo of music and film. An amusing and whimsical film from Denmark somewhal reminiscent of a Jaques Tati film.
