The career exploits of Venezuelan terrorist Ilich Ramírez Sánchez, known in the media and by the public as Carlos the Jackal, are told on an epic scale in Carlos, filmmaker Olivier Assayas's fictionalised account of one of the world's most notorious criminals. Running in total at almost five and a half hours in length, Carlos is screening at MIFF in three parts.
