Building tracks from the quiet solitude of his studio - ported to the public through the bass-heavy thump of the clubs - he has built a reputation as one of the most sought-after DJs in the world.

Documentary filmmaker Romuald Karmakar gains unprecedented access to the working space and methods of Villalobos, including a comprehensive look at his custom-made sound system and massive synth collection.
