FRED SCHEPISI: IN THE EYE OF THE STORM

Legendary Australian filmmaker Fred Schepisi joins Oscar-winner Geoffrey Rush and screenwriter Judy Morris to discuss their creation of the film adaptation of Patrick White's novel The Eye Of The Storm, with White's literary agent Barbara Mobbs, respected critic and cultural commentator Peter Craven and award-winning journalist Virginia Trioli. In 1973, the year of its publication, White was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature "for an epic and psychological narrative art which has introduced a new continent to Literature".

Schepisi's film is the first of White's novels to ever be filmed. Don't miss this unique MIFF event!
