Three years after he survived the bloody mayhem in the first Battle Royale 'game', Nanahara, together with fellow escapee, Nakagawa, leads a terrorist unit, Wild Seven. Declaring 'war against every last adult', Wild Seven plans to wreak unrelenting havoc on Tokyo, beginning with the spectacular destruction of a phalanx of skyscrapers. In retaliation and in the name of justice the 'adults' introduce a new game, The Millennium Anti-Terrorism Act, aka Battle Royale II. The 'adults' ferry a group of students off to a military camp to prepare them for the 'game'. Instead of pitting them against each other, as in the original film, the students are ordered to kill the members of Wild Seven. Fitted with explosive collars and divided into pairs'one boy, one girl'This new game has a savage twist: if one of the pair dies, the other's necklace explodes. Let the inferno of angst begin.
