LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

oung Anja, victim of society and of herself. has been sentenced to a young peoples prison. Her loneliness and desperation, her longing for sex and freedom, are studied against the background of strained relationships in this "school home". Then she is released, gets a job and men. But still she seems lost. She doesn't know what freedom is because she has never learnt to be free.

The film is noteworthy for its line central performance and the youth of the team that made it. especially its 27-year-old director who has made a first film which a Helsinki newspaper described as a masterpiece.
