One of several mini-features intended as support in theatrical exhibition. Some believe minis may become a new genre. Others claim they will be a means of justifying yet more advertisements of equal length before the main feature.
Based on a story by Martin Amis, this 'mini' is about a world-weary projectionist whose cynical vision of the world is only momentarily altered by blindness from a burning match. Wry but ultimately affectionate. - (CK)
