In a maelstrom of confused childhood experi­ences and nightmarish memories half lost in an over medicated haze the story of John Harrowell emerges in this intense micro-docu-drama. Incarcerated for 27 years, John talks of being taken to the 'Sunbury Lunatic Asylum' as a child, the chance meeting years later of two other 'patients' who turned out to be his sisters, also institutionalised, and the attempts to rebuild a sense of family on the inside.
