TWO YEARS AT SEA WINS THE TELESCOPE AWARD | 19/08/2012

MIFF congratulates English filmmaker Ben Rivers (MIFF guest, 2008) and his film TWO YEARS AT SEA for winning the TeleScope prize for the Best New Feature from the EU.

TeleScope is MIFF’s program of exciting new cinema from the European Union, all without distribution in Australia.

Twelve films from twelve different countries competed for this prize, which was judged by three members of the Film Critics Circle of Australia: Mike Walsh, Dan Edwards and Bernadette Burke.

About the film, the Jury stated: "We have given the award to Two Years at Sea for its bold exploration of ways of going against the grain both in life and in cinema."

Congratulations!
