MIFF PREMIERE FUND ROUND TWO RECIPIENTS

24/01/2008

MIFF, through the Government of Victoria, has established an ongoing fund for supporting new Australian theatrical films and feature-length documentaries. The MIFF Premiere Fund supports a number of quality feature-length projects that will have their International premiere at MIFF. The Fund is a strategic minority co-financier of a range of films and is keen to see diversity on its slate in terms of filmmaking teams and genres of films. The four projects in receipt of offers from its second funding round are as follows:

Blessed: Dir. Ana Kokkinos
The Loved Ones: Dir. Sean Byrne
Angel of the Wind: Dir. Tahir Cambis
Indonesia Calling - Joris Ivens in Australia: Dir.  John Hughes
