Next Gen – An initiative of the Melbourne International Film Festival
Next Gen is a program of entertaining and challenging cinema aimed at a younger audience. Films screening during the week are programmed with teachers and students from upper primary to upper secondary year levels in mind. Films screened on the weekend are designed for families and community groups.
Adrian Wootoon Illustrated Film Talks Student Program
A special Dickens on Film Student Program will be presented by MIFF 37ºSouth Market & Accelerator and The Wheeler Centre, in association with Next Gen, comprising a screening of MIFF-Premiere Fund-supported documentary First Fagin and Adrian Wootton’s Illustrated Film Talk on the Life of Dickens.
