Surprise & Encore Screenings

If you missed some of this year's hottest tickets, you may be in luck. We've added encore sessions of a couple of our most popular and in-demand films: Toni Erdmann, Certain Women, Lo and Behold, Reveries of the Connected World, Monsieur Mayonnaise, Bad Girl, Kedi, Personal Shopper, The Handmaiden and The Neon Demon.

In addition, The Age critics have announced Girl Asleep as the winner of The Age Critics Award 2016, and we've got a special encore screening, where The Age's National Entertainment Editor Matthew Burgess will introduce the film and present the award to stars Bethany Whitmore and Harrison Feldman, and writer/star Matthew Whittet.

We've also announced four very special surprise screenings: Taste of Cherry, an Abbas Kiarostami tribute, introduced by filmmaker Nora Niassari; The Rehearsal, based on the novel by Booker Prize-winning author Eleanor Catton; One-Eyed Jacks, the restoration of the Marlon Brando directed western, direct from Cannes; and Don't Breathe, the new film from the team behind Evil Dead, director Fede Alvarez and producer Sam Raimi!
