MIFF's First Glance of its 2012 program has been revealed! Ahead of the full program announcement, out in The Age on 13 July, First Glance offers a preview of the Festival with highlights drawn from a cross-section of the program.
"We've been keeping mum up until now so it's good to let at least a few little cats out of the bag," said Festival Director Michelle Carey. "We're thrilled to be bringing Michael Haneke's stunning Amour from Cannes to Melbourne as well as the latest work from the always deligthful Wes Anderson and festival favourite Werner Herzog. There are of course many more exciting announcements coming up, with the complete line up of films from Cannes revealed later this month and the full program launch in July. I can’t wait to have these titles out there. I think it’s going to be the best MIFF yet!”
