Filmed over three years, this remarkable story sees a group of children use soaring music to overcome hardship and loss. Life has not been easy for 12 year-old Slindile and her friends at the Agape Orphanage in South Africa. Most of the children have lost their parents to AIDS. As they continue to train for what they hope will be their big break with a series of concerts in London, Slindile and her siblings are hit with more hard news - their oldest brother has also succumbed to the illness. With unforgettable kids and music, and a plot full of surprises, this documentary is both stirring and uplifting. Audience Award winner at Tribeca Film Festival and Amsterdam's International Documentary Festival.
