SANDINO NOW AND FOREVER

This is a film about the new Nicaragua. A team of filmmakers living in Nicaragua followed the country's progress in the first year after the liberation. All the main issues — the national reconstruction, the huge literacy campaign, the forming of popular militias to defend the country against counter-revolutionary threats from abroad — are dealt with in this film.
