Facades: "The frustration of mankind at traffic lights" - standing in the thick of traffic in any main city trying to cross a street is a daunting task. Traffic and tension can be enormous. The filmmaker becomes part of it. By using a 35mm still camera, many hundreds of photos are taken and then rephotographed onto 16mm film which creates a dense tapestry of city traffic. All the images are produced in camera with the director's famous matte box image shifter
