GEORGE'S ISLAND

Inspired by ghost stories of Nova Scotia, this is the tale of George, an orphan, who lives with his grandfather, a grumpy and sometimes tipsy old sea captain, who dreams of discovering hidden treasure. Miss Birdwood, George's frustrated school teacher, conspires with the local welfare department to separate George and his grandfather. With the help of Captain Kidd's ghostly crew, Miss Birdwood is made to realise her folly, finds true love and George is reunited with his grandfather.
