The Submergence Trilogy, created for multimedia collective 4π Productions and Coreo Cymru’s Dance Dome programme, comprises three fulldome dance shorts: The Beautiful, The Sublime and Pal o’ Me Heart, all featuring specially commissioned choreography by award-winning companies TaikaBox, Harnisch-Lacey Dance Theatre and Earthfall.
The Beautiful is an immersive metaphysical journey through the landscapes of South Wales. It follows the spiritual journey of a dancer who travels through different chakras until reaching ultimate enlightenment.
The Sublime is a dynamic dance film featuring site-specific live parkour and breakdance sequences, shot within the natural & urban spaces of Wales.
Pal O’ Me Heart is the story of two Irish boys, set during the Easter Rising, and filmed on location on the remote Pembrokeshire coastline with two dancers, Daniel Connor and Murilo Leite D’Imperio, performing in and out of the water.
