Screening as part of a wider program of Robertson’s work, Program 3 consists of seven early short films from Anne Charlotte Robertson, rounded out by one final "Reel" of her Five Year Diary.

To call Anne Charlotte Robertson’s cinema "independent" is to recognise not only the absolute minimum of financial or institutional support given to her work, but also the ways her films speak directly and often poignantly to her own extreme independence as an artist and woman who lived and worked largely alone.

Robertson discovered and began making cinema before she enrolled at the Massachusetts College of Art.
