After having finished his prison term,
the famous safe-breaker Kwinto wants
to forget his past and become a musician. His former partner, Kramer, who now owns a bank, offers Kwinto compensation money, confessing that he had helped the police to catch him. When Kwinto learns that Kramer systematically embezzles the money deposited in Branch his bank, he decides to teach him a lesson. He develops an intricate plan, and with the help of two apprentices to the trade, he robs the bank. Kramer smells danger, but cannot get rid of Kwinto, and in the end he is not only robbed, but ridiculed.
