The Hole

An unlikely couple drilling for water make a strange discovery with shocking consequences. Meticulous production design and sumptuous black and white photography do wonders in this comedy-thriller. It's an homage to "The Twilight Zone" that rewards suspension of disbelief with a wonderful sting in its tail.
