Director Stephen Kijak will be a guest of the festival and will be introducing the first screening of Scott Walker: 30 Century Man

“Wow. That's... that's amazing. I've seen God in the window. I'm... I'm speechless really.” - David Bowie on BBC Radio 1 following a birthday greeting from Scott Walker

Acclaimed as one of the great voices of his generation, Scott Walker went from superstardom in 60s sensation The Walker Brothers (Sun Aint Gonna Shine Anymore) and a stellar solo career, including standards from Bacharach and Brel, to one of the most talked-about disappearing acts in pop history. Producing one record a decade, Walker lives shrouded in mystery but maintains a roll call of fans, such as Sting, Radiohead, Jarvis Cocker, Johnny Marr and Brian Eno, all of whom appear in this documentary - along with Walker himself.

From director Stephen Kijak who dumbfounded audiences at MIFF 2002 with his exposé on movie obsession, Cinemania.
