“Write about what you know. More writers fail because they try to write about things they don't know than for any other reason.” - William S. Burroughs

Filmmakers Lars Movin and Steen Møller Rasmussen discovered footage of an encounter between Beat generation legend William S. Burroughs and Turèll that they used as the basis for this revealing documentary. Interviewing Burroughs' contemporaries - such as poet John Giorno, and Burroughs' secretary of 20 years, James Grauerholz - the filmmakers peel back another layer on the infamous avant-garde author, as they track his travels through Denmark in the early 80s. “We are invited to heed the indirect advice from a man who thought that language was a virus from outer space, and who used his trans-medial cut-up technique to do anything he could to undermine it.” - International Documentary Film Festival --- D/P/S Lars Movi, Steen Møller Rasmussen WS Plagiat Film TD digibeta/2007/74mins
