“I don't care if I fall as long as someone else picks up my gun and keeps on shooting.” - Ernesto ‘Che' Guevara

In 1965, already an icon in his own lifetime, Che Guevara embarked on an ultimately doomed attempt to bring the revolution to the rest of Latin America. His final campaign, leading a small guerilla army to overthrow the Bolivian government, came undone - his movement rejected by the local communists, and his force surrounded by the Bolivian military.

The second instalment of Steven Soderbergh's epic two-part series tells of the last years of Che's life, based on the diary he kept during his Bolivian campaign.

“The logistics of war and the language of revolution give way to something greater, a struggle that may be defined by politics but can't be contained by it.” - LA Times
