This independent production— largely made by one man, Richard Snodgrass — comments on the legacy which the the adult world is preparing for the young. The setting is a small town in Arizona and various inhabitants appear and reappear tn the film's four different episodes.

The first episode deals wiih the thoughts of a six-year-old who, on realising that his parents are seeking divorce, retreats into fantasy. The second is about a black girl and a white girl, whose friendship is nearly destroyed by the attitudes of their parents. An impressionistic comedy, satirising status-seeking adults forms the basis of the third episode, while the last sequence deals poignanily with the reactions of a little boy who finds himself alone in the world after a holocaust.
