Time Out

A prisoner released from a political prison in South Africa, goes to visit the wife (she has been unfaithful) of a fellow prisoner. He approaches. the meeting with hesitance— certainly he is ready to condemn. During a brief evening, he comes to understand how cruel are the pressures on the wife, and to know the courage she needs to bring up her family. Perhaps he is in danger of falling in love with her himself? There is no doubt that he desires her.
