Staring into a fire brings on a certain mood. Feyers tries to capture this by intensely re-working some film of a fire (through hand-tinting, animation, editing, flicker-effects and re-filming), and placing a number of events, images and colors within that fire. The spectator, too, works at shaping the abstract fire into his/her own imagery. In Feyers the eye and the fire meet. The film aims to develop a trance-like state in the spectator.
