This film was produced by Europa Nostra, the International Federation of Associations for the Protection of Europe's Cultural and National Heritage, to draw attention to the dangers that threaten Europe's architectural heritage, Shot in fifteen countries in Western and Eastern Europe, the film touches on all aspects of conservation, including treasures lost, restoration, traffic, advertising, pressures of tourism and new constructions.
