A strange, impressionistic speculation upon survivng the Holocaust and just existing in New York today. Told mostly via a woman's voice over, the past and present merge in a tapestry of haunting sounds and images, punctuated by flashes of humour ("It's all Yiddish to me", a man interjects). Atmospherically lensed by Alessandro Cavadini, with Ozzie avant-gardist Tim Burns also collaborating, this is indeed not your average US/Australian co-production.
