Emily's Last Date

Emily's Last Date is an hysterical journey into the world of blind dates. Director Michael Clancy creates a series of vignettes peopled by believable yet repulsive characters. Therapy with a pyramid-plan makeup selling psychiatrist- "I'm sick of listening to your probiems"-is not helping. Dating "watch me pull a rat out of my throat" magicians is not helping. In fact, Emily's world is a dating nightmare of condescension and platitude. No wonder she doesn't want to go on another blind date. Surely this is her last date Surely. (SC)
