"Observe the man from every single point. Then judge the man any way you want it, Man to man is the greatest secret ever" Nyegosh (1813 1851) Montenegrin ruler poet and philosopher.

A family lives in an idyllic setting in a remote country village in Montenegro (Yugoslavia). When their sons and other visitors arrive a bus drops them off on a country road near the village. But to reach the village they must first cross a deep ravine. The locals have constructed a most inventive connection. How visitors cross the ravine is the sublet of this charming film which poses many more questions about the social structure of the village the crossings potential of disaster and literal rites of passage than it begins to answer.
