“A story of art-making and mental illness and the sometimes thin line between both.” - Variety

The haunting account of the life and times of performer and monologist Spalding Gray, leading up to his death in 2004, And Everything is Going Fine represents the first documentary outing from Steven Soderbergh (Sex, Lies and Videotape, Che, MIFF 2009). Edited from over 90 hours of performance footage, Soderbergh relies entirely on Gray's own voice to tell his own story.

Soderbergh's doco uses Spalding Gray's intensely personal and ironic monologues to craft a film that is part homage, part posthumous memoir.

Includes a dynamic score by Spalding's son, musician Forrest Gray.
