“One of the best comeback stories in show business history.” - LA Times

From 1984 to 1994, a group of ambitious young animators - including the likes of Tim Burton and John Lasseter - came together to revive Walt Disney Animation from the depths of bankruptcy and despair. They created modern classics like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and The Lion King, fuelled by little more than sleepless nights and plenty of margaritas. Their story has never been told quite like this before.

Dishing the dirt on the internal bickering that came with the infamous reign of Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg, filmmaker Don Hahn uses archival footage and interviews with the main players that helped restore Disney as a force in animation.
