"Seamlessly blends pro and non-pro actors for a loveable comedy-drama about sad-sack men and strong but beleaguered women." – Hollywood Reporter

Single, in his 40s, and still living with his parents, schoolteacher Sandro is pressured into a holiday by his friend Iva. By the seaside, he quickly falls in love with hairdresser Manana, and things start to go well until Manana's husband is released from prison. Sandro soon finds himself caught up in a complex scheme of love and lies as he tries desperately to do the right thing.

Levan Koguashvili (Street Days, MIFF 2010) directs a naturalistic comedy that manages to be sweet without slipping into sentiment. Beautiful locations and a dry sense of humour make for a unique, uplifting film that played to great acclaim at the Toronto and Berlin film festivals.

"A slow-burning delight that leaves a soulful afterglow." – Variety
