"A mysterious stranger, an unstoppable force and a Halloween setting signal to the audience … you are about to have a damn good time." – Indiewire

Writer Simon Barrett and director Adam Wingard put the foot on the accelerator with this nudge-wink follow-up to You're Next (MIFF 2013) that recalls more than a few ‘sweet revenge' classics of the VHS generation.

Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens is extraordinary, playing against type as David, a soldier with a secret who turns up at the doorstep of the Peterson family to relay the parting words of their dead son.
