Rising alt-comedy star Patti Harrison joins Ed Helms in this wry surrogate-pregnancy comedy that upends traditional gender dynamics and subverts expectations.

Single, fortysomething app designer Matt is desperate to become a father, but his relationships haven’t worked out. Enter: Anna, a sardonic 26-year-old barista who agrees to be his gestational surrogate – and, soon, this pair of loners find themselves thrown together into an unlikely friendship.

Powered by the winning combination of comedy veteran Helms (The Hangover, The Office) and breakout star Harrison (Search Party, Shrill, Big Mouth), writer/director Nikole Beckwith’s take on the classic buddy comedy flips expectations and cheerfully scrambles conventional gender roles. But Together Together also finds unexpected tenderness in the genre’s distinctive, awkward humour, bolstered by fabulously funny supporting turns from acclaimed comic Tig Notaro, Los Espookys’ Julio Torres and pen15’s Anna Konkle.

Together Together is not just smart, it’s sneaky-smart … This is not the kind of film where the leads overcome social obstacles and live happily ever after as husband and wife. In fact, it turns out to be a rare film about two characters you've never seen in a movie.” – RogerEbert.com
