A Shot at Art

Rogue retired female art festival volunteers take aim at a provocative phallic artwork – and the patriarchy it pretends to critique.
Volunteers Helen and Peggy are scanning tickets outside an installation inviting visitors to shoot paintball pellets at an exhibited appendage. But a lifetime’s worth of patriarchal bullshit has these two older women on a hair-trigger … and when they go rogue, the art world’s not ready. This wicked satire will make sure you’re extra nice to every lovely MIFF volunteer.
