For decades, pure-hearted predator Wile E. Coyote has suffered the slings and anvils of outrageous fortune: every gimmicky mail-order product he bought from the ACME Corporation has failed grievously instead of helping him catch the infuriatingly swift Road Runner. He’s been battered by boulders, dudded by detonators, rattled by rocket-skates, tricked by tunnels and walked into thin air off every cliff in the American Southwest. Now he’s suing the profit-obsessed ‘everything store’. Blending live action with classic 2D animation in the spirit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, this warm-hearted underdog comedy produced by James Gunn and Chris DeFaria echoed its own plot behind the scenes: the completed film was to be shelved in 2023 as a tax write-off, but fan outcry helped it sprint back to the big screen. Don’t miss the Australian premiere of this legendary Looney Tunes reunion, whose cartoon cast includes Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety – it will be dynamite.
